In our densely populated Netherlands, there is increasingly less space for nature and protected animal species. A few years ago, we therefore decided to give nature a hand and started to create animal-friendly and ecologically responsible solutions. Think of nesting and nursing boxes, but also amphibian screens.
In the meantime, Bats & Birds has become the specialist in solutions in terms of mitigation, accommodation and relocation of homes. Protected animal species such as bats, swifts and house sparrows are our main focus.
Bats & Birds helps customers such as property developers, housing associations and ecological consultancies to comply with the Nature Conservation Act. It does this by practical implementation of the ecological advice for plan areas. After the work has been carried out, one or more checks are carried out and exemptions can be issued for new construction, renovation or demolition of a complex or area.
